The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced a roster move on Monday. The team has called up defenseman Urho Vaakanainen from the AHL on an emergency basis. It could mean that Torey Krug will miss at least one game after suffering an injury on the weekend. Vaakanainen has registered two assists in 15 games so far this season for the Providence Bruins after putting up 14 points in 30 games last year. The 6'1 185lb defenseman suited up for two games for Boston last year but wasn't able to register a point. More to come on Krug later today.
