The Boston Bruins continue to look for some secondary scoring help to play alongside David Krejci and one name keeps popping up.
Going back to last year, the Bruins have been linked to Los Angeles Kings forward Tyler Toffoli and it's heating up once again.
The latest comes from Jimmy Murphy of BostonHockey Now who cites an NHL source saying that the Bruins are "doing due dillingence" on Toffoli.
Boston is rolling along right now so general manager Don Sweeney isn't pressured to make any immediate moves and overpay for a player.
Sweeny could wait until the Kings drop their asking price or wait until closer to the deadline like the last couple of years where he has landed Rick Nash, Charlie Coyle and Marcus Kohansson.
While Toffoli has struggled recently and been a healthy scratch, the whole Kings team is struggling and a fresh start could definitely getToffoli back on track.
