The Boston Bruins are waiting to find out who their second round opponent will be as the Pittsburgh�Penguins and New York�Islanders are in a tight battle that could go 7 games.�
The�Islanders currently lead the series 3-2 and host the Penguins tomorrow night.�
Normally this would be good news for all the banged up Bruins however not for one.�
The Bruins officially announced that the season and playoffs has ended for one forward.�
Bruins general manager Don�Sweeney announced that Ondrej Kase has been shutdown for the year after just 3 regular season games and no playoff appearances.�
Kase has played a total of 9 regular season games and 11 playoff games since being acquired at last year's trade deadline.�
He'll be a restricted free agent with arbitration rights this offseason.�
