Bruins Sign Bruce Cassidy To Contract Extension.

The Boston Bruins announced a contract extension on Wednesday, however it wasn't the contract announcement everybody was hoping for.�
While everybody is waiting to hear the Bruins signed Charlie McAvoy or Brandon Carlo to a contract, instead general manager Don Sweeney has taken care of his head coach.�
Full details were not revealed but the Bruins organization and Sweeney confirmed they've signed Cassidy to a multi year extension.�
Since taking over as the Bruins bench boss, Cassidy has a 117-52-22 record which gives him the fourth best winning percentage in team history at .670.�
