After grabbing Gemel Smith off waivers from the Dallas Stars, the Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney had something else to announce.�
The team has officially activated Charlie McAvoy off injured reserve.�
The team has also placed Kevan Miller on injured reserve while sending Connor Clifton back down to Providence.�
This is great news for a struggling Bruins' offense as McAvoy can definitely give a huge boost to the offense and the powerplay.�
