The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced some major injury news on Tuesday.
Sweeney revealed that forward David Pastrnak underwent
"a procedure on his left thumb. Repair was successful. He will be out for the next two weeks and then be re-evaluated."
Terrible news for the Bruins as they're currently looking for secondary scoring and have now lost their primary goal scoring forward.
Add that Pastrnak will only be re-evaluated in two weeks, who knows what the possible time table for his return is.
More to come.
