Jeremy Swayman Is Expected To Be Traded By The Boston Bruins According To Insider
Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman is expected to be traded at the NHL trade deadline according to an insider.
In the off-season, it took them awhile but the Boston Bruins and Jeremy Swayman finally agreed to a contract just two days before the beginning of the regular season.
The Bruins shocked fans in the hockey community, and announced that they have signed Jeremy Swayman to a Eight year, $66 million contract, which would equal out to be $8.25 million per season.
It's been up and down this year for Swayman, and he has really struggled since taking over as the number one goaltender for the Boston Bruins.
This year is 37 games played he has a 3.03 goals against average, and a .895 save percentage. This is not what the Bruins expected they were getting when they signed him to the contract.
Now, a Bruins insider is speculating that the Bruins should trade Jeremy Swayman at or before the NHL trade deadline this day.
Jimmy Murphy believes the Bruins should trade him, although he hasn't revealed his reasoning, he put a poll on his post asking if fans agree or not, in which 48% of fans agreed, and 52% disagreed.
The #NHLBruins should trade Jeremy Swayman before July 1.

When the Bruins traded Linus Ullmark, and signed Jeremy Swayman they thought they were getting their number 1 starter, but Swayman has not lived up to anything.
He has been super inconsistent this year, going on stretches where he looks like he's back, and then having games like last night where he allowed 6 goals on 33 shots in a 7-2 loss to one of the worst teams in the league.
With the Bruins unsure what way they are going to go at the deadline, if they do decide to sell Jeremy Swayman should be someone who gets traded.
Joonas Korpisalo has looked good this year, and the return you could get for Swayman would be pretty big.
