Red Wings general manager made the biggest shocker when he place forward Jakub Vrana on waivers earlier this month, and he's followed that up by waiving one of his young goaltenders.

Alex Nedeljkovic, 27, has struggled in his second season with Detroit. He currently has a 2-4-2 record with a 4.09 GAA and a .880 SV%.
Just two years ago, the netminder finished third in Calder Trophy voting behind Kirill Kaprizov and Jason Robertson while he was a member of the Carolina Hurricanes.
