The Boston Bruins registered another win on Monday as they took down the Anaheim Ducks thanks to David Pastrnak's dominance.
While the team won the game, they also lost forwardDavid Krejci to injury.
Krejci left Monday's game and never came back and will have a chance to recuperate with Wednesday being a day off.
However Krejci has been dealing with injuries since training camp and it's possible the forward misses Thursday's game.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy told the media that Par Lindholm would jump into the lineup if needed.
"We'd probably look at Lindholm first. He's done a good job for us," Cassidy said. "Whether he goes right into that spot or if we move Charlie, you know, but if he's not ready, I suspect Lindholm would certainly be the first guy we'd look at. We'll have to discuss that internally, see if there's a better fit in Providence, but I think Lindy's done his job here for us, so he should get that opportunity."
