The Bruins came out with a crucial 2-1 overtime win over the defending Stanley Cup Champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Boston leapfrogged the Lightning with the win by one point and now sits third in the Atlantic Division. Only 11 games remain for the top four teams in the division, so every point earned is essential.
The line of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and Jake DeBrusk has been noticed for their recent offensive explosion over the past couple of months, but their defensive game has been just as good.
Most importantly, has been the line's ability to shut down their opponent's most dangerous lines.
