The Boston Bruins will look to sweep the four-game regular season series from the Detroit Red Wings tonight.
The Bruins have dominated play against their Original 6 rivals of late.  They have points in 14 of their last 15 games versus the Red Wings, going 13-1-1 in that span.
The Bruins will be missing quite a few key players tonight.  Patrice Bergeron is still out with his fractured foot and earlier today that Charlie McAvoy will miss the rest of the regular season with a sprained MCL.
Brandon Carlo will return to the top pairing with Zdeno Chara in McAvoy's absence.  Also, Matt Grzelcyk will return to the lineup after missing the last two games.
Anton Khudobin will get the start tonight because Tuukka Rask is nursing a lower-body injury that the team considers to be "very minor." Zane McIntyre will serve as Khudobin's backup tonight.
Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard will get a breather tonight after starting the last seven games.  With Petr Mrazek now in Philadelphia, Jared Coreau will make his first NHL start of the season.
Coureau has a 3.46 goals-against average and an .887 save percentage in 14 previous NHL appearance.  He has been very good for the Grand Rapids Griffins this season with a 2.47 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage and was named the AHL's Goaltender of the Month for February.
