It appears as though the NHL Trade Deadline has come a few days early - for Kyle Dubas of the Maple Leafs at least - as more and more deals are announced.
That includes a defenseman the Boston Bruins had their eye on, Luke Schenn, and according to Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli he's heading back to Toronto.
Hearing #Leafs have acquired Luke Schenn from #Canucks.
Toronto is sending a 2023 third round pick back to Vancouver in the deal.
Dubas wasn't done there, either, as Elliotte Friedman also shared that he sent forward Pierre Engvall to the New York Islanders.
