The Bruins defenseman recorded two assists in a 4-2 win over the San Jose Sharks, and with his first one, reached a personal milestone
As per NHL Relations:
Charlie McAvoy (36-165—201 in 338 GP) became the 14th defenseman to record 200 points with the club and can require the fifth fewest games among that group to do so. The only Bruins defensemen to hit the mark in fewer contests are Brad Park (201 GP), Bobby Orr (216 GP), Ray Bourque (226 GP), and Mike O'Connell (299 GP).
The 25-year-old is up to 2 goals and 21 assists in 26 games this season.
McAvoy has always been one of the league's best defenders, and his improvement offensively is just another example of how elite he is.
