Another team has found their head coach, as the Chicago Blackhawks have reportedly hired Luke Richardson as their new bench boss.
As per NHL insider Frank Seravalli:
"Hearing Luke Richardson will be the next head coach of the Chicago #Blackhawks.
Sources say Richardson and the Hawks are putting the final touches on a contract.
Quite the resume for Richardson, who played 1400+ NHL games, 8 years as NHL assistant, 4 years as AHL head coach."
Luke Richardson was an NHL defenseman for 21 seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Tampa Bay Lightning and Ottawa Senators.
He was previously an assistant coach with the Montreal Canadiens and New York Islanders.
