The Edmonton Oilers are now down 2-0 in the Western Conference Final to the Colorado Avalanche. The Avs seem to be a little too much for the Oilers, who are more of a surprise team in the Conference Final.
Edmonton captain Connor McDavid took out his frustrations in game two with a massive hit on Avalanche forward Andrew Cogliano:
Both McDavid and Leon Draisaitl were held off the scoresheet for the first time since the team was shut out in game four by the Los Angeles Kings in the first round of playoffs. They both bounced back after that game, though, as McDavid collected 7 goals and 16 assists in nine games after, and Draisaitl put up 4 goals and 20 assists.
Can the Oilers come back in the series?
