The Boston Bruins number one priority is signing star winger David Pastrnak to a contract extension, and hopefully at max-term.
Recent reports were that Pasta was going to receive at least $80 to $100 million on a max-term deal, which would be an AAV range of $10 to $12.5 million.
However, as @BruinsCapSpace shared on Twitter, that may not be the case:
''I believe the two sides will meet in September and exchange dollar amounts. Ideally he will sign before season starts. From my perspective he is not going to get "$80-100M". Comps for Pasta below.''
