As we all know, the Arizona Coyotes are sharing an arena with the Arizona State University hockey team for the foreseeable future.
Not only does it only hold around 5000 people, and reported that the Coyotes couldn't put their logo on the ice, but the two organizations also shared the interesting new name for their shared facility.
As per @puckreport on Instagram:
''NEWS: The #Yotes' shared arena with Arizona State University has been named «Mullett Arena,» the school announced today.
The name of the 4,700-seat multi-purpose facility is dedicated to the Mullett family whose funding helped #ASU make the jump to Division I Athletics.
'The Mullett family has supported Sun Devil Hockey through every stage of its existence and expanded their support of #SunDevils Athletics in the years since. In appreciation of Don and Barbara Mullett's commitment, we're thrilled to introduce Mullett Arena,' said Vice President for university athletics Ray Anderson.''
