After a one-year absence to return home to Czechia, the long-time Bruin signed a one-year deal in August to return to the only NHL team he's known. Veteran David Krejci is officially back in Boston, and seeing him in Bruins colors again at captains practice yesterday, was a sight for sore eyes.

Krejci was back on the ice with several other players on Monday morning, and afterwards, he spoke to Bruins media for the first time in a while to share his thoughts on the reunion. It's safe to say that fans aren't the only ones excited, as Krejci seems pretty pumped too.

What he's most excited about is the chance to play with David Pastrnak and Taylor once again:

''[Pastrnak's] that kind of guy that I don't have to play with him that much in the past. I haven't played with him the whole last year, and then he came to Worlds it seemed like I played with him the whole season.''

Krejci also discussed how he approaches his hockey future going into the season with just a one-year contract:

''That's the beauty of it because you don't know what's going to happen next year, so you try to take the most out of the opportunity you have in front of you and whatever happens after it happens.''
