The Boston Bruins aren't exactly in salary cap hell, but they don't exactly have a huge cushion either.

What could be trouble is that while Bruins general manager Don Sweeney only has to sign Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo this year, he's got a bigger contract to handle next year when ToreyKrug is slated to hit free agency.

Krug carries a modified no trade clause and is a big part of the Bruins play especially with the man advantage.

That's why JimmyMurphy reports for Spectors Hockey that a David Krejci trade is in the works similar to the PK Subban salary dump.

Krejci also has a modified no trade clause but can add great depth for a team upfront and only has two years left on his deal.

Murphy doesn't name any specific trade destinations, but he does remind us that if Sweeney was able to sign John Tavares last year, by all indications Krejci would have been traded before the start of season.

Would you prefer the Bruins keep Krug or Krejci?
