DeBrusk and McAvoy hilariously roast Matt Grzelcyk after receiving recent honor
The 2023 Beanpot was held over the past couple of weeks at TD Garden and Bruins defenseman Matthew Grzelcyk received the honour of being inducted into the tournament's Hall of Fame.
However (as any good friends should do), his teammates hilariously roasted him on social media. Most notably, Jake Debrusk and Charlie McAvoy.
First, DeBrusk left this response on the Bruins' tweet about Grzelcyk's induction:

Then McAvoy replied with the following:
''Can't believe it took them this long to induct me, didn't they see my OT goal.'' -Grizzy (probably)
Of course, DeBrusk and McAvoy are referencing Grzelcyk's overtime-winning goal during the Beanpot Championship game in 2015. Sounds like his teammates have been hearing about that goal for a while now!
