The Boston Bruins continue to make up ground in the Atlantic Division as they currently sit in second place just five points behind the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Bruins are looking to make a strong playoff push and yesterday it was brought up that the team could possibly sacrifice Ryan Spooner to land a higher quality talent on the wing.
The FourthPeriod site recently put together their Top 30 Available players and to nobodies surprise Evander Kane of the BuffaloSabres holds the #1 spot.
What is kind of surprising is that the Bruins are listed among the teams who could be interested in the 26 year old.
As we all know right now, the asking price to land Kane is pretty high (a first round pick, roster player, top prospect and additional asset), however that price could drop the closer we get to the deadline.
Kane has over 300 points in 500 career games along with an expiring contract. The Bruins have six of their 7 draft picks this year so perhaps we could see a deal consisting of Ryan Spooner and some picks.
It would be a high price for a rental but could also put the B's over the top, possibly slotting in on a line consisting of David Krejci and David Backes?
Do you think Kane could help theB's?
