While the Boston Bruins are getting ready for Game 4 of their first round matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs, teams across the league are focussing on the NHL Draft.
The draft order has yet to be finalized, however ESPN believes they have a hunch at who the Bruins will be taking at the 2019 NHL Draft.
Chris Peters of ESPN put together his first mock draft for 2019 and put the Bruins in the 29th slot based on their regular season record, of course that could change.
With that 29th pick, Peters has the B's drafting Kelowna Rockets defenseman Lassi Thomson.
"Moving up draft boards much of the season, Thomson is an intriguing right-shot defenseman who defends quite well. His offensive upside might be a little more limited, but he moves the puck well.
"
Thomson led all WHL rookie defenseman this past season with 41 points which included 17 goals.
