Bruce Cassidy has been a successful head coach for three NHL teams over the course of almost 10 years.

However, even though he's a Jack Adams Award winning coach (2019-20) there's been some players that haven't exactly been a fan of his.

Most notably, Andrey Nikolishin, who spent time with Cassidy during his tenure as the Washington Capitals bench boss. Nikolishin recently shared the following to Russian sports website Sport-Express

''I crossed paths with him, so I can tell you what kind of person he is. I think he is a rather envious and dishonest coach.''

'The team was really tired of his approach. He reminds me somewhat of Ron Wilson, who was a classy coach. That's the most tactically savvy coach I've ever seen. But as a human being, he was a weirdo.''

Much like what has been rumoured to cause his firing from the Bruins, it appears that Cassidy wore out his welcome when with the Capitals.

Cassidy is still one of the best coaches in the league. He's coached to a record of 321 wins, 172 losses, 9 ties and 56 overtime/shootout losses in 558 games with the Capitals, Bruins and now Golden Knights.
