Bo Horvat has been the biggest potential trade piece this season, but now it's confirmed of what will happen with the Canucks' captain.
According to Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK News in Vancouver, the Canucks signing Andrei Kuzmenko to an extension today sealed Horvat's fate.
''They gave the money to [J.T. Miller], now they're giving the money to Kuzmenko. There is nothing left for Bo, whether you like him or not. Forget about his nine years.'' Horvat currently carries a cap hit of $5.5 million but is a UFA after this season. The 27 year old is, of course, enjoying a career-year with 31 goals and 19 assists in 48 games played.
