Aaron Cheadle was a 16-year-old hockey player from Minnesota and was killed while on his way to a hockey game. His car ended up striking a tree while driving in snowy weather.

"The victim - identified Monday as 16-year-old Aaron Michael Benjamin Cheadle of Browerville - was driving a Ford Taurus northbound on Highway 71 around 10 p.m. near Little Sauk Township when the car went off the road and struck a tree near 150th Street, according to the Minnesota State Patrol website.

Cheadle was pronounced dead at Centracare Sauk Centre Hospital. "

Cheadle seemed to have a bright future ahead as he was just beginning to play varsity hockey for the Prairie Centre North Stars, and people are remembering him as someone who played the game with a lot of heart.

There have been a lot of tragedies in the hockey community, and just the other day 17-year-old Connor Kasin passed away while playing a charity hockey game.

This is just heartbreaking, Aaron was just starting his life, and he sadly got that taken away from him.
