The Bruins have scored their first goal of the postseason.
Hurricanes goaltender Antti Raanta had been spectacular through the game's first two periods, but the B's finally got one past him in the third frame.
It was Taylor Hall who netted the B's opening goal with a snap shot from the point. The forward had stayed back to cover for Charlie McAvoy, who was in on the forecheck, and the decision obviously paid off.
Let's hope the floodgates are now open for the B's as they try and keep the offence coming to set the tone for the rest of the series.
