When the Boston Bruins acquired Hampus Lindholm from the Anaheim Ducks at the March 21st NHL Trade Deadline, they bolstered their blue-line for the postseason. They also signed the defenseman to a max term, 8-year, $52,000,000 contract with an AAV of $6,500,000.

Lindholm missed some time down the stretch due to a lower-body injury and then some more time in the postseason due to an upper-body as a result of a massive hit from Carolina Hurricanes' forward Andrei Svechnikov.
He spoke to the media on Monday to discuss his offseason plans after sustaining multiple injuries, including one to his knee, which may need more attention:
"I have to rehab it [knee] and make sure it's strong for next year ... it's tough, [but] that's hockey. It's unfortunate, but it's just the way it goes sometimes ... I'll talk to the [medical] staff today. I'm thinking some PRP or something to kind of boost the healing, and then that's going to help it reset a little bit. I'll rehab it up and make sure it's strong for next year."

Lindholm said it was from a hit he took in a game against the Detroit Red Wings, and he's unsure if he'll need surgery in the offseason or not.
