Boston has been lights out for the past few weeks and some of its players have been making notable contributions in the process.

Erik Haula is one the player's who been a pleasant surprise. Since he began centering the B's second line, the Finnish forward has settled in nicely alongside David Pastrnak and Taylor Hall.

Boston's third line, comprised of Trent Frederic, Charlie Coyle and Craig Smith has also been clicking recently and was the main contributor behind the club's Thursday night win over Vegas.

As for the B's other lines, fourth liner Nick Foligno recently mentioned that he's found his game and hopes to keep showing what he can provide on a nightly basis, while 25-year-old Jake Debrusk has been lights out since being promoted to the top line.

With all things considered, should the Bruins still be looking to add some scoring depth at the deadline? Or should the team instead turn to a veteran defenseman to bolster the blue line?

Debrusk mentioned earlier this week that, despite his recent hot streak, he would still like to get moved out of Boston.

Don Sweeney would likely get an important return in exchange for the former first rounder and could try to land a minute-muncher to add to his defensive core in the process.

Names like Mark Giordano and former Bruins captain Zdeno Chara have been brought up in a recent ESPN article as potential trade deadline acquisitions.

As mentioned in Emily Kaplan's piece, Zdeno Chara's wife and kids are still living in the Boston area, making a reunion with the big man even more plausible.
