Monday afternoon, the Boston Bruins officially introduced new head coach Jim Montgomery at TD Garden.
On hand for the press conference was owners Jeremy and Charlie Jacobs, president Cam Neely and general manager Don Sweeney.
Montgomery discussed his plan and identity he wants to build with his Bruins team:
''We're gonna compete. We're gonna be a team known for their effort and execution. Around the league I want opponents to know they better be prepared or they're gonna be put on their heels.''
The new bench boss stated that his biggest strength is what was reportedly previous coach Bruce Cassidy's biggest weakness:
''I think my biggest strength is being able to connect with people.''
