As we all know by now, Hockey Canada is deep into various scandals at the moment, with no end in sight.

Because of this, two major sponsors have officially cut their ties with Hockey Canada. Tim Hortons and Scotiabank both announced yesterday that they will no longer advertise for the Canadian men's program, citing growing concern over Hockey Canada's response to a growing number of sexual assault scandals.

According to the statement that Tim Hortons released, they're pulling their funding from all upcoming men's hockey events, however, the company will continue to work with women's and para hockey clubs.

''The progress that Hockey Canada has made to date. We officially informed Hockey Canada this week that we have pulled out of all men's hockey programming for the 2022-23 season including the men's world junior championships.''

'''We continue to fund Canada's women's and para hockey teams, as well as youth hockey.''

Former chair Michael Brind'Amour and interim chair Andrea Skinner, gave embarrassing testimonies during trials yesterday. These testimonies only served to make things worse for Hockey Canada.

Katie Strang of The Athletic had the events:

Nothing will change until the leadership within the organization is overturned.
