The Boston Bruins are favourites to win the President's Trophy as is, but GM Don Sweeney may still be planning to bolster his roster.

With this possibly being the last 'kick at the can'' for Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci, there's no excuse not to go all in.

That's exactly what Dennis Bernstein and David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period think as well. The insiders shared some juicy information on the Bruins being a landing spot for one of the best trade targets available. That being, Jakob Chychrun.

As per Bernstein:

''If I was a betting man, I'd say it's probably the Bruins. Imagine a top pair with Jakob Chychrun and Charlie McAvoy.''

Chychrun, 24, has registered 5 goals and 20 assists in 34 games for a struggling Arizona Coyotes team this season. He also has three years remaining on an extremely friendly $4.6 million cap hit.

To acquire his services, however, Sweeney would most likely have to give up a rostered defenseman such as Brandon Carlo or Matthew Grzelcyk, a top prospect and a first round pick.

Would you do it?
