The two names most heavily mentioned have been Wayne Simmonds and Artemi Panarin, however the cost to land either of those players might be more than Bruins general manager Don Sweeney is willing to pay.
We've head some other options and ScottBurnside of The Athletic has labeled Micheal Ferland as the perfect fit for the Bruins.
Ferland is a 26 year old power forward who currently has 16 goals and 17 assists playing on an up and down Carolina Hurricanes team after scoring 21 goals with the Calgary Flames last year.
Burnside points out the forward will be cheaper to land than Simmonds and can play on the top line and eventually be a good fit beside David Krejci on the second line once Pastrnak returns.
Do you think Ferland would be a good fit for the Bruins?
