Jaromir Jagr is, and forever will be, one of the greatest players to ever lace up the skates.
Whether it's regarding NHL or any pro leagues, Jagr has achieved milestones that seemed impossible to reach. None more impressive than his latest, however, as he passed Wayne Gretzky for a record that may never get touched again.
On Sunday, the almost 51 year old Jagr scored his 1,099th professional hockey goal, passing Gretzky for the most all time.
Check out his goal below:
The ageless wonder is up to three goals and eight assists in 19 games for his hometown Kladno this season.
As per Sportsnet:
''Jagr completed his career in North America with 844 regular season and playoff goals. He added 93 goals in the Russian league/Kontinental Hockey League, 107 in the Czechoslovak and Czech leagues and 55 at international competitions, including the Olympics, World Cups, world championships and Euro Hockey Tours.''
Now the question is whether another player will ever be able to catch Jagr. It seems impossible because it took him till he was 51 - and several leagues - to pass The Great One.
I guess we'll have to wait and see! What do your think?
