Jeremy Swayman excellent once again as USA advances to Semifinals

Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman had a perfect afternoon at the IIHF World Championships in Finland today. The Bs rookie stopped all 33 shots he faced in a 3-0 victory over Team Switzerland in their quarterfinal matchup.
Swayman was a difference-maker for the U.S. Despite being outshot, 33-22, he was perfect on the night and kept the team in the game in a second period in which the Swiss dominated. The Swiss were undefeated coming into today's action against and were also averaging around five goals for per game. Swayman and Team USA move on to face the host Finland in the semifinals on Saturday.
