One of the more disgusting moves was made last night during NAHL action between the St. Cloud Norsemen and the Bismarck Bobcats.
In a 5-2 lead for the Bobcats halfway through the third period, defensemen Jake Hosszu (#4 in black) has direct intent to charge the Bismarck centreman as soon as the puck is dropped. When it finally is, Hosszu charges and catches Adam Pietila (#18 in white) with a flying crosscheck up high.
And then all hell breaks loose! Hosszu even makes matters worse for himself by taking down a linesman. As per colour commentator Noah Grant, who shared the video on Twitter:
''Melee between the St. Cloud Norsemen and the Bismarck Bobcats last night watch #4 (Hosszu) on the right side D-pairing in black.''
''Not a great look, no matter the level of play. Suspensions have to be incoming here''
