Boston is comfortably sitting atop the NHL standings as they've been the most consistent team all season long, but they are without regulars Taylor Hall (LTIR) and Nick Foligno (IR).

The Bruins got good news today regarding one of those forwards, who were both injured during the team's recent Western road trip.

According to Kevin Paul DuPont of the Boston Globe, however, who shared a positive update on the Bruins winger earlier today.

'Taylor Hall, who has been out since Feb. 25 when he was injured, is expected to practice Monday.''

'He could return to action when the Bruins wrap up their five-game road trip.''

A second opinion on Hall's progress must've been good as he was originally expected to be out until playoffs. As DuPont eluded to, though, he could be back as early as March 21st when the Bruins return from a five-game road trip. (There will still be 13 games remaining in the season).

Hall, who is still on LTIR, carries a $6 million cap hit. So, general manager Don Sweeney will have to find a way to move at least $2 million to activate him.

Maybe placing Nick Foligno on LTIR will help?

The 2010 first overall pick has re-found his game since coming to Boston with 61 points in his first full year with the club (81 games). The 31-year-old has added amazing depth on the Bruins third line, collecting 16 goals and 20 assists in 58 games this season.
