As the Boston Bruins prepare to host the LA Kings, Thursday morning's practice brought important updates on some players.

Most notably, veteran centre David Krejci, who has been absent for Boston's last two games due to a lower-body injury. However, as Joe Haggerty of Boston Hockey Now reported, the Bruins had some good news but also some possible bad news.

''Hampus Lindholm missing from the morning skate ice at Warrior this morning. It looks like David Krejci is going to return based on morning line rushes at the start.''

Krejci was taking full-line rushes with Pavel Zacha and David Pastrnak, but defenseman Hampus Lindholm was not a participant in practice.

According to Matt Porter of the Boston Globe, it's not only a maintanence day for Lindholm:

''So it appears that Zboril will draw in for Lindholm, and Krejci's return bumps Smith out of the lineup.''

Jakub Zboril hasn't played since November 23rd, when the Bruins visited the Florida Panthers. It would also be Lindholm's first missed game of the season.

Averaging 24:11 time on ice per game, the defenseman has four goals and 16 assists, while the team has outscored opponents 25-14 when he's on the ice at five-on-five.

The good news is that it's not injury related for Lindholm; however, let's hope he's feeling better soon, as he is officially a game-time decision for tonight.
