As he and the Boston Bruins are visiting the Tampa Bay Lightning, captain Patrice Bergeron has recorded career point number 1000 with an assist on Brad Marchand's goal to make it 4-1 for the Bruins.
Bergeron officially has 409 goals and 591 assists in 1,235 career games. Watch the captain's milestone goal below:
Bergy, 37, has now recorded nine goals and nine assists in 19 games in his 19th season with the Bruins franchise.
