NBA and Boston legend, Bill Russell, passes away at 88

Boston Celtics legend Bill Russell has passed away at the age of 88.
His family posted the announcement on Russell's official Twitter on his behalf.
Bill Russell is a basketball legend in every way possible:
-11-time NBA champion (record)
- Five-time NBA MVP
- Member of the 25, 50, 75 Greatest Ever Anniversary teams.
- Two-time NCAA champion
- Olympic Gold Medalist
- Two NBA championships as the first Black head coach in North American pro sports history
Russell spent his entire 13 year NBA career with the Boston Celtics, appearing in 963 games, and 165 postseason games.
He and Henri Richard of the Montreal Canadiens are tied for the record of the most championships won by an athlete in a North American sports league.
