The Boston Bruins selected Matthew Poitras with their first pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in the second round (54th overall) last Thursday.
After being selected, Poitras met with the media for the first time as a Bruin and couldn't help but have a huge smile on his face.
As per Bruins Twitter, the youngster gave his own scouting report:
B's second-round pick Matthew Poitras: 'I'm kind of a versatile player, bit of a mix of skill and greasiness...pride myself on the ability to win stick battles and possess the puck. I'm more of an offensive, skilled, gritty guy.''
