Charlie McAvoy is a clear number one NHL defenseman, and for the Boston Bruins, he played a career-high 24 minutes a night in 2021-22.
McAvoy also had a dominant season from both a possession and outcome standpoint; his 57% expected goals percentage and 61% actual goals percentage are amongst the best on not only the Bruins' blue line but the entire NHL.
However, what some B's fans may not know, is what kind of person he is off the ice. McAvoy sat down with the NHLPA to discuss all the fun facts about his life.
