The Boston Bruins will return to the TD Garden on Thursday night when they host the Arizona Coyotes.
Their recent play has the Bruns just one point behind the Montreal Canadiens for third place in the Atlantic Division.
Things are starting to finally look better health wise after the Bruins had to deal with numerous injuries during the first two months of the season. However, they are not fully out of the woods when it comes to the injury report as two players missed today's morning skate.
Both defenseman Torey Krug and forward Ryan Spooner did not take part in today's practice. Head coach Bruce Cassidy met with the media after the skate and confirmed that Krug was given a maintenance day and is expected to play versus the Coyotes tomorrow.
Spooner has a lower-body injury, similar to the groin injury that kept out of the lineup for all but 10 games this season, and will be re-evaluated tomorrow morning.
According to Cassidy, Jake DeBrusk is doing better and will be a game-time decision on Thursday night.
Cassidy also confirmed that Tuukka Rask will start in goal for the Bruins versus Arizona.
