Patrice Bergeron had a heck of a night for himself in Brooklyn.
Not only did his hat trick help the Boston Bruins extend their league-high point streak to 15 straight games, but he also moved up the all-time franchise scoring list.
His three goals give him 278 for his career which put him one ahead of Wayne Cashman for seventh in Bruins team history.
"I had a chance to learn from Cash my first few years," Bergeron said after the game. "He was a great person, I've heard only great things about him as a player & the way he played the game. It's always great to hear & great honors. But at the same time, I'm really worried about what I can control, which is helping my team get some more wins."
Bergeron has a chance to catch Ken Hodge for sixth place at 289 goals this season. He still has some work to do to get into the top five.
