General manager Don Sweeney and the Boston Bruins have had an interesting off-season to say the least!

The summer started with the firing of longtime head coach Bruce Cassidy, leading to the hiring of Jim Montgomery and a return of veterans Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci. Along with star players Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy missing significant time due to offseason surgery rehab, there are a lot of question marks heading into the 2022-23 season.
However, maybe the most significant question among Bruins fans is the progress, or lack there of, in extension talks with winger David Pastrnak.
According to Joe Haggerty of Boston Hockey now, there might be another bump in the road for Boston and Pastrnak.
Haggerty discussed the negotiations between the organization and Pastrnak's camp:
''It's very quiet. I think they're waiting for camp to start, to maybe ignite things. Waiting for Pastrnak to be here [Boston] everyday.''

Pasta, 26, appeared in 72 games for the Bruins last season, recording another 40 goals and adding 37 assists for 77 points.
With the season right around the corner now, there's reason for apprehension around the organization, especially considering the precedent set by Johnny Gaudreau and John Tavares leaving the only teams the ever knew in free agency.
Check out what else Haggerty discussed in the video below:
