Long time veteran forward Justin Williams decided to make his return to the NHL after lots of speculation.
The forward took the first half of the season to decide if he wanted to play again, and when all was said and done he decided to sign a one year deal with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Before the contract was signed, reports had the Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals making a strong push for "Mr Game 7".
According to Pierre LeBrun, another team made Williams an offer.
LeBrun reports that the Toronto Maple Leafs had conversations with Williams along with the Bruins and Williams rejected both teams in favour of returning to Carolina.
Do you think Williams would have been a good fit on the Bruins?
