After celebrating his 1,000th NHL game with a 3-assist performance, David Krejci was asked about what makes this Bruins team special.

When describing how this 2022-23 team is different than other teams he's been on in Boston, the veteran allegedly ''threw some shade'' at former coach Bruce Cassidy. Below isn't the full quote, but it highlights what people are describing as the shot toward Cassidy:

''But I like the mentality of this team to stay in the moment, take it game-by-game. Practices have been good. Obviously, the coaching change helped a lot. We're obviously feeling good.''

Then on Tuesday, reporter Mike Felger of NBC Sports Boston returned the favour and called out the Bruins for what has been said. As per Felger:

''Don't lose in the first or second round now, because you haven't done anything yet that you didn't do under Cassidy!''

He makes a good point that Cassidy did pretty much everything but win a Stanley Cup during his tenure as the head coach in Boston. At the same time, however, this team is on pace to break the regular season record of 62 wins, and frankly, it has a ''different'' or ''special'' feeling about it.

Also, since when is a player that is just telling the truth the bad guy? Check out what Felger said below:
