Recent reports have come out that Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds was ''very interested'' in purchasing the Ottawa Senators franchise, which is currently for sale. The previous owner Eugene Melnyk passed away earlier this year, and his daughters, who have been handling the business, officially placed the team for sale.
Reynolds appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday night and discussed his interest in purchasing the NHL club. Fallon asked Reynolds if the rumours were true:
''I am trying to do that. It's very expensive. So, I need a partner with really deep pockets.''
So, the rumours are true. Ryan Reynolds is more than just interested in purchasing the Ottawa Senators, as he's currently in the process of finding partners to join him.
