Goaltender Jeremy Swayman has been nothing short of red-hot as of late and his strong play has led to the Bruins climbing over the Capitals for top spot in the Eastern Conference Wild Card race.
In Saturday night's matchup, Swayman backstopped the B's to a 3-1 victory over the Sharks, coughing up his only goal of the game while shorthanded. Despite a fairly quiet night in which the netminder only had to make 15 saves between the pipes, none was as impressive is this one :
The 23-year-old netminder has been frustrating opponents ever since he officially rejoined the team following Tuukka Rask's retirement earlier this month.
Following yesterday's win, the Bruins now own a 31-17-4 record this season, giving them a 14-point cushion over Detroit in the Atlantic Division standings.
