Sweden took home the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship bronze medal thanks to a 3-1 win over Czechia on Saturday afternoon.
One of the Bruins top prospects, 19-year-old Fabian Lysell, opened the scoring for the Swedes.
Lysell got Sweden on the board at 14:22 of the first frame on a dynamic solo rush, fighting off Jiri Tichacek's check on the right side and looping behind the net to surprise Suchanek with a perfect wraparound.
It was Lysell's second goal of the tournament. He finishes the competition with two goals and four assists in six games played for Sweden.
The forward from Frolunda and Bruins 2021 first-rounder had 22 goals and 62 points to lead the WHL's Vancouver Giants in points last year.
