Whether Hall was benched or dealing with effects from his preseason injury in the third period of the Bruins loss to the Senators remains to be seen. One certain thing is that Hall has responded by consistently finding the back of the net since that game.
Hall has the game-winning goal in all three games of the Bruins' current winning streak. In the game against Anaheim, Hall scored the Bruins' lone goal in regulation before ending the game in the shootout. He followed that performance up by scoring the game-winner against Minnesota in overtime.
Reunited on a line with David Krejci and David Pastrnak, Hall's game has been elevated following the loss to Ottawa. Hall, who signed a 4-year, $24 Million contract extension during the 2020-21 offseason, is now playing some of his best hockey in a Bruins jersey.
Taylor Hall, when playing at his highest level, has been the Hart Trophy winner as league MVP. A productive Hall can go a long way toward the Bruins' hopes of being a severe cup contender this season.
Hopefully, Hall and the Bruins can continue their impressive starts as they take on the Red Wings on Thursday.
